FORMER VICE PRESIDENT ATIKU ABUBAKAR WINS PDP PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY.



A former vice president of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria under the administration of Olusegun Obasanjo has emerged winner of the presidential primary of the opposition party held in Portharcout.

The former vice president pulled a total of 1532 votes of delegates votes in the primary election conducted by the vigilant Dr.  Arthur Okowa,  Executive Governor of Delta State.

Aminu Tambuwal the runner up amassed 693 votes while Bukola Saraki, the Senate President had a meagre 317 votes out of the total delegates votes cast.

Void votes amounted to 68 as David Mark and Sule Lamido scored 35 and 96 votes respectively.
