HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY ASPIRANT DUMPS SDP IN DELTA; ALLEGES LEADERSHIP DISPARITY WITH PARTY MANIFESTO

House Of Assembly aspirant for Isoko North Constituency, Comr. Ugagaoghene Ogheneyole under the Social Democratic Party, SDP has over the weekend resigned his membership of the party.

He took to his facebook timeline to announce his resignation after his philanthropic group Revive Africa Initiative donated relief materials to flood victims at IDP camps in Kwale and Imede.

Alleging disparity to the party's manifestos of internal democracy, good governance and youth inclusion in the party's leadership at the local,  state and national level, has failed to live up to expectations.

NOTICE OF MY RESIGNATION
I write to officially notify you and the state party leadership of my resignation from Social Democratic Party.

The reason for my decision is based on my realization that the party activities and operations are not in tandem with its manifesto of internal democracy, good governance and youth inclussion.

I chose Social Democratic Party as the first political party I officially registered with as a member based on the content and quality of its manifesto.

I hereby quit the party as it's leadership both at the Local Government, State and National level have failed to live up to it's promise of internal democracy, good governance and youth inclusion as enshrined in its manifesto.

I can not belong to a party that operates in disparity with its own manifesto, judging from events and happenings recent times.
