NWAOBOSHI AND JAMES MANAGER GETS RETURN TICKETS TO SENATE AS EVELYN OBORO FLOORS AMORI IN PDP SENATORIAL PRIMARIES IN DELTA
Senator Peter Nwaoboshi and Senator James Manager secured return tickets to the Senate to represent Delta North and Delta South senatorial districts respectively in the just concluded People's Democratic Party's senatorial primaries conducted today, as member of house of representatives, Evelyn Oboro defeated Ighoyota Amori to emerge as the senatorial candidate of the party for Delta Central in the 2019 general elections.
Senator Nwaoboshi secured a total number of 506 delegates votes followed closely by Prince Ned Nwoko who had 453 votes in the Delta North primaries.
In Delta South, James Manager had 553 votes as against Hon Michael Diden who pulled just 490 votes.
Delta Central saw the member representing Sapele, Okpe, Uvwie Constituency in the House Of Representatives, Hon. Evelyn Oboro pull a total of 586 votes against 486 votes scored by Chief Ighoyota Amori to clinch the party's ticket to represent the senatorial district in the red chambers.
The primary elections were said to be calm and peaceful as there was no violence recorded in any of the venues.
