In a public announcement posted on facebook by an aide to the council chairman, Hon Godwin Adode, calls on owners of the shops to come to the local government secretariat with proof of ownership and resume immediately.
The Council Chairman also maintained that failure to comply with the directive will lead to revoking ownership and shop allocated to those that are willing to make use of it.
Inspecting the modern market, the executive chairman ordered the Hausa people occupying the front of the market to evacuate with immediate effect.
The Council Boss was accompanied by Head of Personnel Management HPM,Mr Ese Umukoro, HOD Environment, Mr.Orode, Deputy Leader Ughelli North Legislative Arm, Hon Onos Agofure, Personal Assistant to the Council Chairman, Hon Emoefe Ediri Peace amongst others.
