SENATOR DAFINONE DIES AT 91 IN LAGOS

Accomplished Accountant and a Senator of the second republic, David Dafinone has taken the path of all flesh. He died on Sunday morning in Lagos at the age of 91.

Ede Dafinone, his son confirmed his father's death to newsmen said the family will greatly miss him.

“He was a father who stood by us no matter what and he sacrificed so much for us and the nation,” he said on phone.

David Dafinone has born on March 12, 1927 in Sapele, Delta State and was the chairman of Chairman D.O. Dafinone & Company. He represented Bendel South Senatorial district between 1979-1983.

Until his death, he was a Fellow Institute Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
