PASTOR LOSES PREGNANT WIFE IN OTERI.

The Anglican Parish Of St. Jude Isodje Oteri in the early hours of today, 22nd September, 2018 was thrown into deep mourning as the pregnant wife of the Resident Pastor Rev. Solomon Odjoh slumped and died during an alnight programme.
Sympathizers drawn from across the Diocese Of Ughelli, family, associates and friends were seen clustered around the residence of one of the church members early this morning, where the pastor is seeking solace and also receiving condolences from sympathizers.
Bereaved church members were also sighted in groups praying for their pastor and the church in this trying time. A church member who claimed anonymity described the deceased as a virtuous woman who lived an exemplary life in Christ. He added, "The death of the Rev's wife is a fatal blow to our congregation. I pray for God's guidance even as we try to console ourselves for indeed, these are perilous times".
Attempt to meet with the mourning pastor proved abortive but the church Sexton confirmed the ugly incident.
May the soul of the faithful departed rest in peace and may God grant the church the fortitude to bear this great lost.
